Our points series circuit began in 2015 with all shows taking place in Climax Springs, MO.  For 2025 all our shows will be held at the Lonnie Price Memorial Arena in Calhoun, Mo. 

To be eligible for awards at end of year, you will need to be a BBSC member.

Ask any officer for membership sign up. $25 Family $15 Individual.

We use Thunder Paws timers and Charlie Horse Horse Show software to track and record the series. All shows, EXCEPT Colt Show are

Preregistration $20 or $4 per Class

Ride all Day - $30 Day of Show

Non-Members

Ride All Day - $35 Day of Show or $5 per Class

Participants may register at the show, but the price is a little higher.  Registration day of show closes 30 minutes prior to start of the show.   Dates and locations, along with a class list can be found at the following links.

Events are open to all ages and experience levels.  Each show is divided into 5 divisions:  peewee, youth, junior, adult, jack benny.  The only exception is the Calhoun Colt Show in September, which is a historic show. The classes are slightly more broken up and division breaks vary from other circuit shows.  Results from this show are added to the proper divisions in the circuit.

BBSC Mission Statement

We are a grassroots organization that focuses on beginner and novice individuals with horses. Our mission is to assist individuals in learning horsemanship skills and equine knowledge through friendly competitions, trail rides and parades.  BBSC is currently home based out of the Lonnie Price Memorial Arena, 405 N Depot, Calhoun, MO  65323
